K-State Defeats Texas!

My life as a sports fan leaves much to be desired. The Chiefs have not been to the playoffs for a long time, and it has been even longer since they have won a playoff game. The Royals are the worst team of the last decade, and the days of George Brett, Frank White, and winning the World Series are lost in the haze of my teenage years. BUT, K-State actually upset Texas last night. My undergraduate days were spent in the Little Apple, and I remember watching some great basketball, especially during the days of Mitch Richmond and Steve Henson. As you can see, there is nothing really philosophical about this post, but why not share my sports fan joy, since it is so rare these days?
